Himalayan MapHouse Pvt. Ltd.

Established in the year 1997, Himalayan MapHouse Pvt. Ltd. is the sole registered map publishing entity in Nepal, dedicated to promoting Himalayan tourism both domestically and abroad. As a member of the International Map Industry Association (IMIA), formerly known as the International Map Trade Association (IMTA), we strive to provide the highest quality maps for our customers.

At Himalayan MapHouse, we take pride in producing the most comprehensive collection of trekking maps available in Nepal, which are regularly updated to reflect the latest information regarding route changes and the new available facilities along the route.

As an integral part of our Quality Assurance Program, we verify all information regarding trekking routes and trails with professional trekking guides & climbers and update our maps for accuracy and reliability. All altitudes are measured with analog & digital altimeters and the trekking times represent average times.

We have collaborated with Trails Illustrated (National Geographic) in the production of their Adventure Series Maps of Nepal.

In 2001, we won the Best Sheet Map award from IMTA on Lhasa to Kathmandu map.
